Styling

Oils are a great way to straighten curly, thick hair- but have you ever heard of a straigtening gel?  Well, Aquage’s Straightening Ultragel is one of our favorites! It is infused with ultra-light silicones and Sea Fennel Oil.  A super light product, it will not leave your hands sticky or your hair greasy.  It also accelerates your shine to the next level!

Texturizing

Volume & body- that is what is trendy today! Everybody want voluminous bouncy locks, but how do you get that extra lift?  Aquage’s Uplifting Foam is another hot product! This product is a root lift, with a special delivery system. Have you ever used a root lift and had it create a crunchy feeling on the direct area you sprayed?  Typically, a lot of root lifting agents do cause this stiffness to the hair.  However, this formula is weightless and thus will give your hair maximum lift without the crunch!

Thermalizing

We blow dry, we flat iron, we curl- heat, heat, heat!  All of the heat we constantly subject our hair to can cause damage.  That is why it is crucial to protect your hair with a thermal spray.  But what if you thermal spray not only protected the layers of your hair, but also locked in the style and added shine? Look no further! Aquage’s Beyond Body Thermal Spray acts as not only a protectant, but also a sealing agent! The ceramic infused polymers and fortifying proteins are what gives you hair body, strength and shine.  After spraying this product, it should be followed with heat (whether it be a  blowdryer, flat iron, curling iron, etc…) to lock in the style!

Finishing

Ever want to freeze your hair’s style without it being sticky to the touch? Aquage’s Working Spray-firm hold, will allow you to keep your style without keeping your hair motionless.  We all want to maintain the look we have right after we finish getting ready, but harsh aerosols are not only a no-no for the environment, they can often make your hair literally feel frozen and sticky.  This Working Spray will allow shaping, styling and texturing to maintain the look you intended without being stiff!  It is also a great supplement to the Thermal Spray we talked about earlier!

Bottom Line

These are just a few of our favorites right now.  We are still getting used to using this new product line but thus far have been very impressed.  We will continue to experiment and play around with the different products to really find Aquage’s place in Tabula Rasa! What’s also great is that Aquage has made their entire product line available in miniature sizes so you can mix and match to create the perfect cocktail for you hair! These little minis would be great stocking stuffers too!
